FAQ
How long should a Kansa massage be?
Massage the face for 5 -10 minutes on each side of the face.
You can make your face massage as long or short as you like until you feel relaxed and revitalized. While using it you can see the toxins being released from your face.
How many times can I use the Kansa Wand?
You can do a Kansa massage as often as you’d like. 2-3 times per week is good for your skin, but can be used every day if you like. The wands have no limited usages. The wands are not battery operated - they’re made from high quality teak wood and Kansa metal, so they’ll last a very long time and can be used as many times as you like.
Why is my skin turning grey when I use the Kansa Wand?
The grey effect is a chemical reaction due to high acid concentration in the skin. This means that your skin releases accumulated acid and the balancing effect has begun. The grey is only temporary of course, all you need to do is wash your face after use and then apply Blue Beauty Drops Balancing Facial Oil or Drops of Gold Rejuvenating Facial Oil to calm and balance your skin. The massage with Kansa Wand can take up to 10-15 minutes before your skin turns grey. Sometimes you don't turn grey and this is typically when your skin is balanced and calm.
What do you mean by "acid in the skin"?
From a dermatologist’s perspective, "Lymphatic drainage helps circulate blood and fluids. It's detoxifying and can help brighten the complexion and reduce facial puffiness." the lymphatic system is seen as the most important system in the body, so the Kansa wand was engineered specifically to aid in lymphatic drainage. The area where lymphatic build-up is most noticeable is, of course, skin. There are lymph nodes all over your face — in front of the ears, along the jawline, under the chin, around the cheeks; when toxins are stagnating there, the result is usually breakouts, dullness, oil-overload and puffiness.
How do I clean my Kansa Wand?
When you use your Kansa Wand, we suggest washing it with a chemical free soap, and cleaning it with light wet cloth. Gently towel dry and begin use. Tea Tree oil is an antiseptic and can be used as a natural cleaning remedy.
Can I use the Kansa Wand on areas other than the face, for example the neck, décolletage, or even the body?
Yes - if you feel tension or tightness in areas like the neck, déecolletage - or even legs - feel free to use the Kansa Wand to massage any of the desired areas. It will leave you feeling less tense, relaxed and pampered.
My face feels warmer while using the wand - is that normal?
Yes. A gentle warming sensation can be normal when using The RAAW Kansa Wand, especially as circulation increases during massage. This indicates improved blood flow and can be part of the calming and revitalising experience.
